Baby Pages - A Facebook Application for iVillage

iVillage.com came to Vina Source with a desire to build a comprehensive application for Facebook that would allow mom's to share the growing years of their new born baby.  The application basically built "facebook" inside of "facebook" by allowing the user to create baby profiles, add baby friends to the baby, track milestones, and receive a "mini-feed" of information about what is going on with your friends baby. The project was completed in six weeks and installed on the iVillage servers. The application is built on the .net 2.0 platform with a SQL Server 2005 backend.
